Eat soup, get a local handmade bowl, swap seeds (if you want), and help food accessibility.

Saturday, February 26 from 11 am – 3 pm at our neighbor Christy Webber Farm & Garden, 2833 West Chicago Ave.

Christy Webber is hosting a free seed swap and invited us to join! We’ll be there with seeds, and we are selling soup to fundraise for our sliding-scale CSA. All funds raised will let us offer some CSA spots at a lower cost while also letting us farmers still get paid minimum wage.

We have two frozen 24-ounce soups for pre-order via Venmo for a suggested donation of $30-45+. When you Venmo us, let us know which soup(s) you want. If you don’t have Venmo, message Adi on Instagram to pick your soup, and then pay cash or check at pickup. Soup comes with a handmade bowl of your choosing! Plus, Jim Franks is baking! Come early before all the bread sells out! Bread will be sold in person on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pozole Verde Vegano by Robert

Pozole is now closed for orders. Adi’s mushroom soup is still available for preorder and limited in-person day of sales.

Pozole is a part of our family’s traditions. We make this for special occasions or just to feel especially good. Growing up we would have it made with pork. Now more often than not we opt to substitute mushrooms for the pork, whether its portabellas, shitakes, and/or oyster.  Making this traditional dish a fusion of today’s plant-based culture and our deep-rooted Mexican culture. My parents Carmen and Roberto are the people from which this love in the form of food has come to fruition. I thank them dearly for the love they show us through their cooking and so much more.

Ingredients: Hominy, Poblano peppers, jalapeños, Onion, Garlic, Tomatillos, Pumpkin seeds,  Epazote, Spinach, Cilantro, Parsley, Radish Leaves, Black Pepper, Cloves, olive oil, salt, oregano, Blue oyster mushroom; Broth is made with: carrots, celery, cilantro, parsley, onion, garlic, zucchini, thyme, sage.
